Delivery Info

 Delivery day (one day pick- up only) is Wednesday, November 6th from 2:30-6:30 p.m. at Mitchell. 

LC Incentive - pIZZA party!

The top selling LC will win a pizza party!

Individual Incentives

  • Urban Air Trip for 5th and 6th grade students who sell $499 or more is Friday, November 22nd.
  • Dunk Team Show Assembly will be Thursday, December 19th for 5th & 6th grade students selling $399 or more.
  • The Yuck Game Show Assembly will be Friday, November 8th for 5th & 6th grade students selling $299 or more.

Academic Support

  • Organize and distribute school supplies
  • Fund the creation of the school’s natural habitat – an outdoor science classroom
  • Provide complimentary student planners and B.O.B.s (organizational binders)
  • Organize and execute Textbook distribution
  • Organize and fund all field trips, including admission and transportation
  • Fund student curriculum & technology enhancements, e.g. Renzulli Learning Systems, iPad & Chromebook carts, ceiling-mounted classroom projectors, smart boards & more
  • Maintain Challenge Course for Teamworks
  • Fund professional development for staff
  • Host regular Staff Appreciation activities
  • Co-sponsor the guest author visits
  • Fund student curriculum materials, e.g. the National Geographic Traveling map

The Fun Stuff

  • Coordinate 5th and 6th grade Student Socials.  Twice a year, the PTO coordinates with each grade and holds what we call a "student social".  There are games, prizes and food.  Socials are held in the fall and spring.  Each LC asks for donations of specified items based on the LC's booth.  This is an excellent opportunity for all LCs to mix it up and socialize more than during specials and their staggered lunch and recess times.  All proceeds from the socials go directly back to the school.
  • Plan and execute the 6th Grade End of Year Celebration.  Thanks to all our Sponsors!
  • Publish a first-class Yearbook.
  • Design and sell Spirit wear.


Mitchell PTO  raises money primarily through a PTO membership drive, spirit wear sales, and a fall fundraiser.  All PTO sponsored activities are supported through these fundraisers.  Thank you for your continued support!

  • Found It Friday - Coordinate schools Lost & Found program.  Parent volunteers needed and appreciated!
  • Red Ribbon Week -  national drug awareness activities held each Oct 
  • Landscape Maintenance -  coordinate work beyond district services, i.e. mulch, trimming and weeding 
  • Maintain and coordinate Volunteer List.
  • Website/Facebook management.
  • Organize, print, and deliver school-wide directory to PTO members.
